How it works
- Step 1
Get a question
A random interview question appears. Filter by intro, behavioral, technical, or system design.
- Step 2
Answer out loud
Choose audio or video, press record, and answer as if the interviewer were in front of you.
- Step 3
Play it back
Listen to or watch yourself, run through the self-review checklist, and record another take.
What to listen for on playback
- Lead with the answer. Interviewers should know where you are going within the first sentence or two.
- Filler words. A few are natural. A steady stream of “um”, “like”, and “you know” sounds unprepared.
- Pace. Nerves make most people speak faster than they think. Short pauses sound confident.
- Specifics. Numbers, names of systems, and concrete decisions are more convincing than general claims.
- A clean ending. Finish with the result or takeaway instead of trailing off with “so… yeah.”
