FAQ
Switch to the From Image tab, upload or drag in an image, then move your mouse over the canvas to preview pixels in the zoomed loupe. Click any pixel to lock that color in and copy its HEX, RGB, or HSL value.
No. The Pick from screen button uses the browser EyeDropper API, which is currently available in Chromium-based browsers such as Chrome and Edge. On browsers without that API, the button stays disabled and the page suggests trying Chrome or Edge.
The grid lets you pick hue and lightness visually, while the saturation slider changes the saturation used for every square. Clicking a square selects that HSL color and immediately shows the equivalent HEX and RGB values too.
Once you select a color, the tool shows three copy-ready formats: HEX, rgb(...), and hsl(...). It is designed as a picker and sampler rather than a full multi-format converter.
No alpha channel is exposed in the output — the selected result is always shown as HEX, RGB, and HSL without opacity. Uploaded images are drawn into a local canvas in your browser for sampling; they are not sent to a server by this page.
